Newness
Newness! Newness seems to be one of the commonly used words by most people this season. Newness implies the quality of being new. The popularity of this word this season is basically due to the birth of a new year. As much as people usually consider its importance during the beginning of the year, I bet to differ. It does not necessarily have to be then; it could be at anytime when one wants to transition or turn a new leaf. But it is equally important for it to come into play at the beginning of a new year, since doing so signifies evaluation or assessment of the previous year, having resolutions and making amends to have a better year.
Last year gave you many reasons to be hurt, feel pain and cry. The pain it caused, nevertheless, was for a greater good. The troubles and pain of yesterday are to influence your decisions tomorrow, to strengthen feeble you and to carve a better person out of you. In order to be productive and enjoy the fruits of your today and tomorrow, you got to live your today and tomorrow working and devoid of distractions from your yesterday's problems, troubles or pain, being conscious of them regardless.
You can only move on when you forgive yourself and anyone or anything that played a role in your sorrow, and doing away with all bitterness related to it. Avoid laying blames at your own doorstep. Your tribulations cannot entirely be your doing; some might have been beyond your control. Don't let your last year intimidate, demoralize, or shatter you. There is a better this year. Your troubles will pay off.
Newness does not necessarily need to be the extreme. Newness is supposed to bring forth a new you, capable of maximizing your potentials. New you means, a you that has let go the past, a you that has moved on and a you that is ready to rise above the confines of your individualistic nature and beat all odds. Let your darkened yesterday propel you to a brighter tomorrow. Move on!
HAVE A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR 🎊🎉🙏
